“We toured so many daycares when I was pregnant, and GMS was the only place that made me feel peace. As a parent, I have peace of mind dropping off my child every day knowing he is being loved and cared for. This is a special place!”

Safety & peace of mind
Choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions you'll make. Here is exactly how we keep your child safe, every hour of every day.
Infants 1:4 · Toddlers 1:6 · Preschool 1:10 — below state requirements so every child is truly known.
Every exterior door stays locked during the day. Only approved family members receive an access code.
Every teacher clears state and federal background checks, plus CPR and First Aid certification.
Daily wellness checks at drop-off, published illness policy, and hospital-grade cleaning routines.
Meals, naps, milestones and moments sent straight to your phone throughout the day.
Licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services with inspection reports available on request.
All-inclusive tuition
Childcare should support your entire family, not create more stress at the end of a long day. Your tuition already covers the daily essentials busy parents are constantly juggling elsewhere.
Freshly prepared organic breakfast, lunch and a hearty afternoon snack from our dedicated on-site kitchen.
Diapers, wipes, formula and sunscreen are all included — nothing to pack, nothing to restock.
All learning materials and classroom essentials are provided, every single day.
Wraparound care for school-age children, built into your tuition.
We handle the drop-offs and pick-ups to and from nearby schools.
Thoughtfully designed spaces with natural light, beauty and order — and teachers who truly know your child.
Simple, wholesome, organic-focused meals made from scratch in our restaurant-grade kitchen. Seasonal menus built on fresh local ingredients, served family-style so children learn conversation, manners and how to listen to their body's cues.
Breakfast, lunch and a hearty afternoon snack — every day, included.

Our approach
We believe children are naturally capable, curious, and deserving of deep respect. Rather than forcing children into rigid systems, our teachers follow each child's developmental readiness and natural curiosity.
01
Children choose meaningful work at their own developmental readiness, building focus, independence and self-respect.
02
Project work grows out of the children’s own interests and can last days or months — for as long as the delight holds.
03
Whether your child is telling a story with puppets or solving a math problem with a classmate, no learning is separated from PLAY.
04
Extra time outdoors moving, playing and building with our Outlast outdoor block set — the ultimate multisensory classroom.
05
Our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs align with Ohio’s Olentangy School District curriculum for a smooth transition into local schools.
06
Teachers follow each child’s curiosity rather than forcing them into rigid systems — emotional security first, always.

Founder & Owner
Our story
Green Meadows Schoolhouse was founded by Ms. Leah, a mother of three who wanted early childhood education to feel more personal and more respectful of both children and parents.
What started as a small vision for a different kind of childcare experience has grown into three schoolhouse communities built around strong relationships, thoughtful teaching, and the understanding that children learn best when they feel safe and genuinely cared for.
Today, Green Meadows remains intentionally owner-operated — something that has become increasingly rare in premium childcare. Families know who is leading the school, children are truly known by their teachers, and parents have a place that feels supportive from the first day forward.
Because early childhood should never feel rushed, impersonal, or one-size-fits-all.
Three schoolhouse communities
Each of our three locations shares the same child-centered curriculum, respectful caregiving approach, and commitment to supporting the whole family.
Infants · Toddlers · Preschool
Bexley families tend to stay connected for years, and our schoolhouse reflects that. Parents know one another, children grow up together, and relationships with teachers become part of daily life.
Infants through school-age
Our Lewis Center community serves many young families balancing busy careers and full schedules. We've created a calmer, more supportive environment where children and parents both feel grounded.
Infants through school-age
Many Powell families come to Green Meadows looking for something more personal than the larger franchises nearby — strong early education, with a child who feels genuinely cared for each day.

“Let's talk about the food: the commitment to wholesome meals is such a breath of fresh air. It's so rare to find a place that values nutrition as deeply as education. But perhaps the most striking part of Green Meadows is how much joy radiates through it. Highly recommend ❤️”

“I searched for a new daycare for months before carefully selecting Green Meadows and I'm so happy we did. Our family has been in several classrooms and the kids love them all. I enjoy the teacher-to-student ratios, meal prep, and love and care they provide.”

“Can't say enough about Green Meadows. The whole staff is so nice and accommodating to our son. Very well run facility. And they even have events where the kids can pet farm animals! Not enough stars on Google for the Lewis Center team!”

Questions parents ask
And if your question isn't here, just ask on your tour — we'd rather over-explain than leave you wondering.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm, year-round. We close for a small number of major holidays each year.
How much is tuition?
Tuition varies by campus and age group and is all-inclusive — meals, diapers, formula, wipes, sunscreen and supplies are all covered. We share full pricing during your tour.
Do you have a waitlist?
Availability changes by classroom and campus. Infant rooms typically have the longest wait, so we recommend touring as early as possible.
What is your sick policy?
Children must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication before returning. We share our full illness policy during enrollment.
What do I need to pack each day?
Very little. Bring a change of clothes and a comfort item — meals, diapers, wipes, formula, sunscreen and all supplies are included in tuition.
How do you handle the transition to a new classroom?
Transitions are gradual and led by your child’s readiness, with visits to the new room and close communication with you throughout.
